Let us challenge your pupils and help them nurture their interests to give them the tools to be well rounded, confident individuals. What better way to do this than through physical activities.
After school activities are also a great way for pupils to make new friends, try something new and get away from the TV.
KO Sport can provide coaches for after school clubs to make a difference.
We cater for all times of the day, whether it is a breakfast, lunch or after school club we can provide a service for you.
Our activities are wide and diverse, from the more main stream sports and dance such as football, cricket, netball, basketball, cheer leading, salsa dancing etc. to other marginal sports such as street games, street dance/cheer. They are all fun, educational and action packed. If you have a particular activity in mind, get in touch.
For those days when a quieter time is required we can provide low key structured play.
Our coaches develop their lesson plans in advance. The content of the lesson will depend on the brief by the customer and the age and ability of the children/adults attending. All lesson plans are progressive in nature and this folder can be made available for inspection if required. We are very mindful of the Every Child Matters Agenda.
Our lesson plans ensure structured and progressive learning, thus meeting the standards of the school and OFSTED. Example lesson plans can be provided on request.
The same coach delivers all sessions ensuring continuity with both children and staff with the same coach coming into the school every week. Our coaches are, without exception, enthusiastic and encouraging.
The continuity of the coach allows KO Sport to provide assessments on all classes and children with attainment levels for each area of physical education.
Our extra curricular activities are suitable for all ages from 4 to 12.
KO Sport Coach Educator also supports the coaches by carrying out a number of external observations of the coaches, and their classes, to ensure that our high standards are being maintained. Copies of these reports can be made available to the school for your records.
If there is an unforeseen circumstance which means your designated coach is unavailable, KO sport will still guarantee cover.
In addition, all our coaches are highly qualified, CRB enhanced, first aid qualified and internally trained.
At KO Sport we also offer flexible payment options to suit your situation.
KO Sport Plan 1:
KO Sport will run the extra curricular club collecting payment from parents directly.
KO Sport Plan 2:
KO Sport will run the extra curricular club but charge you directly. It is then at your discretion as to you whether you charge the participants directly.
