"We would just like to say a big thank you for the 6 week soccer skills football you provided at Cape Primary School. Our Reception children thoroughly enjoyed all of the energetic and engaging activities. Not only did they learn lots of new football skills, but they have also developed in confidence when it comes to physical activities in school. Your approachable and enthusiastic manner whilst delivering the programme meant that the children were always looking forward to Friday arriving when they could have their football session! The children have managed to transfer the skills taught into their play and work and this has been valuable to us as a source of assessing their development."

“During the past half term ‘Soccer Stars’ have taught Reception class a variety of football skills in a fun and creative way. I have found both Kate and Olivia extremely enthusiastic when teaching and the children have formed good relationships with their coaches.
I found the activities linked well with the EYFS profile and allowed me to observe children working towards a range of scale points. The sessions provided valuable evidence towards the children’s profiles.

The children have been so excited about the lessons and so engaged during the sessions that they now want to exercise and hence I feel their fitness has improved.

At the end of the training each child received a football and certificate which was a fantastic reward for the children that showcased their achievements and will encourage them to continue practising the skills they have learnt outside of school.”
