Core Stability Classes (Similar to Pilates)

If you want a class that will gently build and strengthen your whole body, then this is the one for you. This challenging 45 minute class works to tone and condition all major muscles of the torso, plus bottom and legs. Special attention is applied to the abdominal and back muscles. Yes we all have some abs!

Which Class is Best for you - Beginners or Intermediate?

Beginners Core Class (Monday's 7:40-8:25pm at St Barnabas School Hall):

Suitable if you're new or returning to exercise. Gentle core strengthening exercises that will improve your core stability. If you want further information as to whether this class is suitable for you then please be in touch.

Intermediate Core Class (Monday's 6:15-7pm, Thursdays 6:00-6:45pm at St Barnabas School Hall):

Suitable for those with Pilates or exercise experience. This challenging class caters for all abilities, as you are put through a series of core strengthening exercises. If you want further information as to whether this class is suitable for you then please be in touch.

What’s in it for you?

This gentle group exercise class will leave you feeling refreshed, invigorated, and a little pumped. You’ll be having fun, as well as helping your body:

• Strengthen and tone muscles
• Increase spinal stability
• Improve posture and overall lumbar health
• Still burn calories but in a gentle and relaxed manner.
• Oh yes! Helps prevent and improve spinal issues.
• Double Oh yes!! This is carried out mostly on the floor.
